Ingersoll at Paris
On Nov 29th our Dove Dental Peewee AE's travelled to Paris to battle the Wolf Pack. After suffering a defeat at the hands of the Caledonia Thunder, our Peewee Express boys were looking to rebound & get back into the win column.

At puck drop, the Dove Dental team did just what coaches, parents and fans had hoped, they came out aggressive & showed intensity & determination. Ingersoll was able to keep the puck in the Paris end for much of the period with lots of passing & cycling of the puck. As the period was nearing the end, #12 K. Brown locked a clearing attempt by Paris & was able to scoop up the loose puck & fire it along the boards where #17 E. Cuthbert picked it up, went behind the net & passed out front to #11 R. Condotta who wired the puck over the goaltenders glove giving Ingersoll a 1-0 lead. End of first: 1-0 Ingersoll.

The 2nd period started out much the same with both teams getting some scoring chances. Ingersoll goaltender #1 T. Belore continued to come up with big saves to preserve the Ingersoll lead. At 8:42, Paris was able to get on the board & tie up the game. Ingersoll would quickly rebound when #14 C. Groves would send a stretch pass to #5 C. Hughes who would then play a little "give & go" down the ice with #17 Cuthbert & through a pair of Paris defenders. Hughes would take a pass back from Cuthbert & wire a shot beating the Wolf Pack goaltender restoring the Ingersoll lead. Paris was able to tie it up again before the end of the period. End of 2nd: Tied 2-2

The third period turned out to be a high scoring & action packed affair. After a few end to end chances by both teams, Ingersoll restored their lead when #5 Hughes picked up a loose puck & passed it back to defenceman #16 A. Patterson. He deked out a Paris defender & took a slapshot on net & #17 Cuthbert was there to tip in the puck giving Ingersoll a 3-2 lead. Paris would quickly tie up the game 3 all. Not to be outdone, Ingersoll would again take the lead when #17 Cuthbert carried the puck down the boards, cut to the net & took a shot, gathered his own rebound & put the puck in the net to give Ingersoll a 4-3 lead. Ingersoll would add another when #4 J. Strom was able to strip the puck in the neutral zone and carry it back over the Paris blue line & then dropped the puck back to #3 B. Wright. Wright took a shot on net where #7 O. Clarke was able to knock in a rebound to give Ingersoll a 5-3 lead. In the final minute of the 3rd, Ingersoll added the 6th goal when #10 L. Pare scored on a hard shot from the point with assists coming from #4 Strom & #7 Clarke. Paris would add 1 more with 40 seconds left for their 4th of the game.

Final: Ingersoll 6 Paris 4.
