Bantam AE Thamesford Pizza Continues Strong Play Against Wolfpack
The Bantam AE Thamesford Pizza Rep side rode a strong game from goalie Dawson Sharpe combined with an excellent overall team effort to earn their third win in four games as the defeated the Paris Wolfpack 2-0 Monday night at the Ingersoll Memorial Arena.

Sharpe may have played his best game of the season to date as he showed no signs of letting one get by and picked opportune times to stop play so his team could get much needed line changes.

The defensive unit also picked up the slack as they managed to frustrate the offensive zone pressure from Paris keeping them to the outside for most of the night. When the Wolfpack did manage to get into the good scoring areas the defense was there to clear the front of the net and get the puck to the boards to the wingers for some easy zone clears.

The forward unit also had a strong game from all three lines as Ingersoll was able to break out of their own end most of the time we some easy chips and nice breakout passes. This lead to more puck possession by the Express in the offensive zone which would keep the visitors in their own end for some extended periods of time.

The Express opened the scoring with 1:22 left in the opening period. Winger Kieghan Osmond sent a pass down the right side of the neutral zone to Center Isaiah DeWit. DeWit crossed the Paris blueline cut towards the slot and let a wrist shot go that beat the Wolfpack goalie just over his blocker.

The home side would finish out the scoring just 1:48 into the second period on a nice goal from winger Joey Parkhill. Parkhill, Tyler Bergman, and Caleb Clifford controlled the puck from the opening faceoff of the second period and had possession in the Paris end. The line worked the puck around to generate three different scoring chances that finally ended with Parkhill's goal.
