The Bantam AE Thamesford Pizza squad hosted the Caledonia Thunder in the second game between the two teams in two days. The Ingersoll side was looking to make it two in a row over the Thunder after earning the road win the night before.
While the home side put up a good battle for most of the game they came up short as Caledonia would leave Ingersoll with a 4-1 victory.
The visitors opened the scoring with 4:20 left in the first period, but the Bantam AE Express side would tie the game a minute and a half later on the powerplay. Winger Joey Parkhill would pick up a loose puck in the Caledonia zone and skate behind the Caledonia net. Center Tyler Bergman was trailing the play and Parkhill would find him with a nice backhand pass. The Thunder goalie got caught looking the wrong way following Parkhill around the net. Bergman would pick up the pass and put it into the open net before the Thunder goalie realized what had happened.

The teams would head into the second period tied at 1-1. Both teams would generate some chances but it would be Caledonia who break the tie on a powerplay goal of their own. with 11:42 left in the second. The Thunder would keep up the pressure and add a second goal before the period ended to take a 3-1 lead into the final period.
Luke Turner gets off a backhand shot.
The Express kept working and digging but were unable to beat a hot Thunder goaltender. Center Isaiah DeWit had the best Express chance when he came down the left wing and let a hard slap shot go that appeared to be heading for the top corner but was snagged by the Thunder goalie.
The Express would keep up the pressure but the visitors would add another with six minutes left to finish off the scoring.
The Express would get a few more chances courtesy of the Thunder's lack of discipline but could not capitalize on some nice passing on the powerplay to beat the Thunder goalie.
