Butterworth's came into the Delhi tounament as definite underdogs. In their first game against the host, they didn't look like underdogs as they played a great game. B. Randall scored early in the first making it 1-0 after the first. E. Kish made it 2-0 in the second but Delhi cut the lead in half shortly after. With less than 10 seconds left in the second period, K. Winkworth broke down the wing and let a wrist shot go beating the goalie with 1 second left in the period. There was no scoring in the third making the final 3-1 for Butterworth's. N. Crane was solid in net once again for Butterworth's. K. Winkworth was the player of the game for his hard work in the trenches.
