Staying in the playoff hunt
Last night, Butterworth's hosted Simcoe in an important game. It was a back and forth game from he drop of the puck. The score was tied after the first period and Butterworth's was down by a goal after the second period. With Buttrworth's putting pressure on late in the game, S. House had a breakaway. He was hauled down just as he was getting ready to take the shot. The referee called for the penalty shot. So with just over 2 minutes to play in the third S. House went on the penalty shot and made no mistake going to his back hand and tying the game. The final score was 3-3. Other goal scorers were B. Randall and R. Gregg. Assists went to U. Jewkes, E. Kish and T. Newell. Great Game!
