Intense!!!
Last night Butterworth's Novice # 3 hosted Six Nations. It was an intense game from the opening puck drop. Six Nations opened the scoring early in the first but B. Huitema's great wrist shot tied the game in the second. The game was tied after two periods. The teams traded goals early in the third and then goaltending took over for both teams. N. Crane was stellar making incredible saves off of breakaways in the third period. Unfortunaltely one too many breakaways cost Butterworth's the game. Final score was
4-3 for Six Nations. Other goal scorers for Butterworths were R. Gregg and D. Piper. Assists went too M. Durham, T. Newell and O. Patterson.
