Three Straight Home Wins For the Unifor Local 88 Midget Rep Boys
The boys were back at it again this week with 3 home games that moved the boys back up the standings with three straight wins against Cayuga, Glanbrook, and Simcoe.

Dec 13th – Ingersoll was at home hosting Cayuga with Malchesky in net.  This night Ingersoll was in complete control right from the first drop of the puck.  Goyette opens the scoring from a Cayuga turnover in their end where he stepped up from the blue line with a wrist shot that goes bar down.  Shortly after Goyette finds himself in the Ingersoll defensive end where he makes a 50 ft saucer pass to Graham where he would go in to beat the Cayuga goalie five hole to put Ingersoll up 2-0.  In the beginning of third period Rizzo dangles three frustrated Cayuga defenders and beats the goalie to put Ingersoll ahead 3-1.  Zegers would finish the scoring with an empty net goal that gave Ingersoll a 4-1 win.

Dec 16th – Ingersoll was at home hosting Glanbrook with Haggsma in net.  Once again Ingersoll had complete control of this game.  Rizzo working hard beats the defense and sends a backhand pass to Graham for a wide open net 1-0 for Ingersoll.  Rizzo again finds himself in front of the net in the second period cleaning up on a rebound and scores to give Ingersoll a 2-0 lead.  Not done there Rizzo gets his name on the score sheet again making a beauty pass to Dyzengal out front where he would make no mistake Ingersoll now leading 3-0.  Late in the game Graham controls the puck behind the net and with a spin move makes the pass out to Gedies where he would put the puck up and over the goaltender to make it 4-0 giving Ingersoll the shutout win.

Dec 18th – Ingersoll was at home this time against Simcoe who was 1 point ahead of them in the standings prior to the game.  Malchesky would be back in net for this matchup where he would be tested early.  Ingersoll would open the scoring with Mayo holding the line getting the puck to Dyzengal who makes pass to Rizzo to finish it Ingersoll up 1-0.  Keeping the momentum going Graham using his slick hands keeps the play in the offensive zone and drops is off to Gedies who makes no mistake giving Ingersoll a 2-0 lead.  Simcoe would score to bring it within one but would give up a penalty shot to Ingersoll where Zegers would score making it 3-1.  Early in the third Rizzo finds himself with the puck in front of the net where he would go post and in on the short side to make it 4-2.  Keeping it going Rizzo would make an unbelievable clearing pass through the rafters where it would bounce onto the stick of Jeff Couse where he would score a shorthanded goal pushing the lead out to 5-2.  Simcoe would claw back one more on a power play, but Jeff Couse would put the finishing touch on an empty net goal to give Ingersoll a 6-3 win.
