Unifor Local 88 Undefeated in Last 4 Games
Unifor Local 88 midget rep boys had two games this week where they extended their unbeaten streak to 4 games.  Ingersoll was looking to build some momentum going into a hockey filled tournament weekend that has the team headed to Gravenhurst.

Nov-15th At home Ingersoll found themselves against another top team being the Paris Wolfpack.  The first period was even for both teams ending scoreless.  Both teams came alive in the second with an urgency to score and Ingersoll was the first to strike. Jeff Couse picks up the puck behind the net and scores for Ingersoll assists going to Hogg, and Dunn.  Right away Paris scores on a delayed penalty to tie it up 1-1.  With some hard work in front of the net Zegers scores assists going to Gedies and Lindsay.  Paris once again ties it up to end the second 2-2.  The third period has penalty trouble for both teams with Paris sneaking out to a 3-2 lead that was short lived.  Ingersoll on the power play has Lindsay scoring tying it up with assists going to Wein and Graham.  The game ends in a 3-3 tie with both teams taking a point.

Nov-20th Ingersoll heads down to Langton on a cold snowy night looking to put another win under their belts.  This game has Ingersoll taking control of the game early and not looking back.  Ingersoll’s first goal was a thing of beauty seeing the cycle work in the corner.  Dyzngel to Rizzo who makes the pass to Goyette breaking in making 1-0 for Ingersoll. Next goal comes on the power play where Lindsay gets the puck out to Gedies in front of net where he tucks it 5 hole to take a 2-0 lead. Joel Couse also known as the “Wizard” on this night uses the body to keep the puck in the offensive zone.  He gets it out front to Rizzo where he makes no mistake Ingersoll now up 3-0.  The “Wizard” Joel Couse not being done causes a turnover on the penalty kill and uses his magic hands to score a shorthanded goal giving Ingersoll a 4-0 lead assists going to Rachar and Hogg.  Unfortunately Langton scores late to take away the shutout, but Ingersoll walks away with the 4-1 win giving them the momentum needed for the tournament this weekend.
