Thamesford Pizza/Unifor 3264 Dominates Burford Bantams
Thamesford Pizza/Unifor 3264 Bantam team travelled to Burford November 22, 2014. Both teams started hard and with great skill, yet only one team would come out on top.
The turnovers were fast and furious through the first period of the game, and even some “hockey fish” was involved – a tactic that quickly freed the puck from the grasp of the Burford team, putting it back where it belongs: in the hands of Ingersoll's Bantam players. The first goal was scored by Thamesford Pizza/Unifor 3264 by Dylan Goyette, with assistance from Camden McDougal and Tyler Mounsteven. Later on in the first, with only 22 seconds on the clock, Mounsteven passed the puck to Nolan Costa who put it to bed against the back of Burford's net.
The second period continued with Ingersoll's dominance, as McDougal scored, after receiving a pass from Graydon Macdonald. A final goal would punctuate the second period, as Bram O'Connor scored a solo goal, bringing the score to four – zip at the end of period two.
Connor Young-Craig continued his goal-tending magic through the third period, bringing the game to a close with a shut-out for Thamesford Pizza/Unifor 3264. Ingersoll returned home with a 4 - 0 win. Another great game by an amazing, passionate team!
