Shutting Out Waterford
Thamesford Pizza/Unifor 3264 Bantams of Ingersoll travelled to Waterford's pond October 22, 2014.  This was to be the first game of the season for these two rival teams.

The game began with both teams carving the fresh ice with determination in their blades, and skill in their sticks.  A back and forth of puck handling and net defending filled the first seven minutes of the game.  The scoreboard would not remain at zero, however, as Ingersoll found a way through Waterford's goalie near the seven minute mark:  Nolan Costa received assistance from Anthony Ziraldo and Tyler Mounsteven, to hit the mesh in the back of the Waterford net.

The second period would not bring two whole minutes without a goal, as Jonathon Landsborough blasted the puck from the point, where Zack Ackert tipped it into Waterford's net.

Later in the same period, Graydon MacDonald received a pass from Braydon Todd and Justin Burns.  MacDonald raced into the Waterford zone, unhindered, to beat the goalie for point number three.

The third and final period would bring the fourth and final goal of the game, as Todd received the puck from MacDonald, who one more time put the puck where it belongs: behind the opposing goalie.

The end result of this game was a shut-out for Ingersoll's Thamesford Pizza/Unifor 3264 Bantams, as they returned to Ingersoll with a sweet win.
