Butterworth's Express Capture Southern Counties Intertown "A" Championship
The Ingersoll Express Butterworth's Novice team captured the first ever Novice Southern Counties Intertown Championship in IDMHA history. The Express jumped out to an early 1-0 lead over Simcoe. They carried a 2-0 lead going into the third before the Express train took off in full steam to score four unanswered goals along with some stellar defense to take home the title back to Ingersoll with a convincing 6-0 victory. The youngest team in the league the Express utilized their speed, tough in your face defense and more importantly their strong effective team play to finish with a 32-2-3 record.
