As the snow fell the roads to Langton were clear for our Butterworth's Service Centre to make their way for another showdown.

The snow continued to fall outside but our Express train was heating up inside the Langton & Area Arena.
The night started off with a bang at 7:10 of the first #7 Charlie "Chuck" Ashman scored the first of the game assisted by #2 Will Johnson and #12 Jorja Kloepfer. The second goal came less than a minute later from #7 Charlie Ashman with a big wrist shot from the point that worked out to be a perfect pass to  #11 Westin Matsumoto who was there to undress the Langton Net minder and place the puck in the back of the net. There period ended at 2-0 for the visitors our Ingersoll Express.
The second period was more of a battle for position on the ice with both teams fighting back and forth. Six minutes into the period we finally broke through the Langton defense and #14 Dylan Lale was there for the lone break away that opened the flood gates. Three minutes later #16 Sam House positioned perfectly in front of the net was there for the feed from #6 Wyatt Thompson to leave the score at 4-0. Then just only twenty seconds later standing at between the hash marks #4 Urijah Jewkes was there to secure the deflected pass and send what would be called by some a laser past the Langton net minder, who if it was not for the breeze blowing past their face would not have known the puck had been launched past him! (I had to sell this one a bit more for my son!) With the rocket heard through Langton in the net the third period ended at 5-0 for the visitors.
The third period was no less exciting for the visitors from Ingersoll with our next goal coming only one minute into the period by #10 Jonah Martire assisted by #7 "Chuck" Ashman and #11 Westin Matsumoto. Then for the next five minutes  we witness pure determination #15 Logan Pare send puck after puck at the Langton goaltender but with each and every try he was turned away. (Keep on trying Logan that wall will soon come down!) with four minutes left in the period #10 Jonah Martire scored assisted by #11 Westin Matsumoto and #15 Logan Pare. With time then winding down #14 Dylan Lale added to his score total assisted by #7 Charlie Ashman who was anywhere and everywhere during this game working much harder than this score sheet would show, the last goal was also assisted by #2 Will Johnson.

You are on a team.
It's a family, regardless if you like them all or none of them.
You can't choose your family, just like you can't choose your team.
Even through all the drama, your team will always be there for you and you should be there for them.
You compete as one, not as individuals.
Everyone should try harder every practice.
Win or lose as a team.
Rise or fall as a team!
