The End is near
As we enter the last few days of the season, I would like to wish our Butterworth's Service Centre team all the best of luck tonight against Tillsonburg and hopefully see you all Sunday! GO EXPRESS GO!

This is now my chance to thank you all for reading which I hope have been entertaining write ups over the season. It has been my honor to have been able to watch our kids grow from at the beginning of the season a bunch of individual players playing the same game. To a bonded group of maturing players playing a team game.
For the one thing I have tried to stress from sideline point of view that this is a team and will always be a team. No one individual will win for us because if there were not 5 other players behind, in front and beside they would never be able to.
This little train that could is now nearing its final destination for the season and I wish them all the best of luck. Play hard, Play fair, Play to have fun!

Thank you to all the coaches for the fantastic job that you all have done bringing our kids together and for bringing us parents along for the ride too. Thank you Troy Matsumoto, Chris Pare, Shane Johnson, Brian Plaquet and Darren House.

Now the most important thank you's go to
#1 Christopher "The Eagle" Hardeman no matter what you say you have been the Wall that has gotten us through some games we most likely should not have won.
#2 Will "LumberJack" Johnson for having the biggest heart in one of the smallest bodies out there. There is no one that on this team that takes this game more seriously than you. The center to our "Mighty Mites" line
#3 Brody Wright you were a later addition to the team but what a presence you made on that blue line. You made all of our defenceman better
#4 Urijah "I'll Take it" Jewkes for giving this father more than a few proud parent moments. One of our hard working "Mighty Mites" and to the hardest shot goal of the year.
#6 Wyatt Thompson to playing your heart out and being out on that ice working to get us those much needed goals. We wouldn't be here now with out you
#7 Charlie "Chuck" Ashman for those bombs you launch from the blue line that hit the net! One of our giants of the blue line. You have helped Christopher secure more than one shut out this season.
#9 Ryan "I.S.S.U" Wolfe you have come so far this season. What chemistry you and "Chuck" have developed over the season you may not have the size but you definitely have the personality to be part of the blue line giants
#10 Jonah Martire you have been there we have needed someone the most. When the team couldn't hit the net you were always there to show us how to put the puck in the net.
#11 Westin Matsumoto from the quiet player on the bench at the beginning of the year to one of our most exciting offensive players to watch on the team
#12 Jorja Kloepfer showing these boys how to lead a team from the good times and the bad times. To checking when a team mate would fall you were always there to pick them back up (and to make sure I had the music)
#14 Dylan Lale no one could say that they have more passion to play this game than you. Scoring goals, assisting others and getting down and dirty in the corners you have been there for it all
#15 Logan Pare you have persevered and hung in there starting out on defence and then moving to forward you have found your spot. Now just keep that stick down and let that shot go you will strike fear in goalies minds one day very soon.
#16 Sam House the brains behind the "Mighty Mites" you know more about this game than anyone I have met your age. You have been in the pocket knocking in those rebounds all season. By the way "Go Leafs Go!"
#19 Brandon Plaquet the equal partner in what was the dualing giants of the blue line. Your quiet but effective leadership has brought along our younger players much further than I thought a 7 year old could do.

To all the parents thank you of allowing me to entertain you all through out this fantastic season.
 Here's to two more wins!
