Searles Motor Products - Novice Rep, 2014-2015 (Ingersoll & District Minor Hockey)

Last Thursday, the Searles Novice Rep's fought hard and after 2 periods were finally able to go ahead in the 3rd when Landon Skevington scored.  The team was able to hang on for a 1-0 win over Simcoe and extend the series to a game 4.  Yesterday, the Searles Novice Rep's went to Simcoe for game 4 and although they had some chances to score, Simcoe proved to be too much to handle and the game ended 4-0 for Simcoe who cliniched the series and will move on to the OMHA finals.  Great effort out there, we are proud of all of you. ​

Last Thursday in Ingersoll as a prelude to the start of the upcoming OMHA Semi-Final, your Searles Novice Rep's played Simcoe in a Southern Counties playoff game.  This was a great game for Ingersoll as they kept Simcoe in check and sent them home with a 2-1 loss.  The goals were scored by Landon Skevington assisted by Nicholas Yorowski and the winner (his first of the year for Searles Novice Reps) was Wyatt Thompson assisted by Nicholas Yorowski and Tyler Watts. 

Searles Novice Rep's went to Simcoe on Sunday and played a hard fought game but came up just short in a 3-2 loss.  It is just my observation, but I think on the year that we are probably winless in the early afternoon game time.  We appear to be an early morning and evening team.  However, after that statement Simcoe came to Ingersoll on Tues night and the result was not any better as Simcoe left town with a 4-0 win and up 4pts to 0pts for the series. Game 3 is Thursday February 26th, I am confident that the boys will bring their game and make this a series!  Team first!
