Southern Counties "A" pool playoff update
Last Thursday in Ingersoll as a prelude to the start of the upcoming OMHA Semi-Final, your Searles Novice Rep's played Simcoe in a Southern Counties playoff game. This was a great game for Ingersoll as they kept Simcoe in check and sent them home with a 2-1 loss. The goals were scored by Landon Skevington assisted by Nicholas Yorowski and the winner (his first of the year for Searles Novice Reps) was Wyatt Thompson assisted by Nicholas Yorowski and Tyler Watts.
Continuing the strong play in the Southern Counties playoffs the Searles Novice Rep's hosted Delhi last night. Early in the game Ingersoll was down by 2 goals but they then they found their groove and were able to battle back and tie up the game for a final of 2-2. The comeback was led by Brody Williams assisted by Tyler Watts and Ty Shapton and Ethan Cuthbert assisted by Ty Shapton and Tyler Watts. This game was quite chippy with some penalties being called on both teams.
