Thamesford Pizza Smokes The Langton Leafs
Thamesford Pizza travelled to Langton November 22, for a game against the Langton Leafs.  The fans were in high spirits for both home and visitors as the puck dropped to start the action.

The Leafs appeared to take control as they won the face-off and the clock started its countdown.  Once Thamesford Pizza came to know their opponents, however, they opened scoring in the first period as Craig Wild's shot found its way past the Langton goalie.

The second period began with Thamesford Pizza sending another goal into the back of the net, then another, and the attack continued.  Anthony Ziraldo put the puck home with assistance from Tyler DeBruyn, then Jacob Branderhorst received assists from Hayden Homewood and Braeden Mcneil, followed by further Ziraldo magic with Wild assistance.  The second period's goal-scoring was punctuated by an unassisted Branderhorst goal.  Meanwhile, the Leafs did answer back within the last five seconds of the period with a goal of their own.

Period three found Thamesford Pizza continuing to dominate.  Langton was able to punch through two more goals.  Thamesford Pizza, however, continued their scoring volley at the Leafs' end of the ice.  Ziraldo opened the third-period's goals with an assist from Jacob Vanderheide, giving Ziraldo the first hat-trick of the game.  Mcneil put one home thanks to the assistance of Marcus Frizelle.  Mike Veale received a pass from Frizelle and was able to find the mesh behind the Leafs goalie.  Branderhorst found a hat-trick with his third goal, receiving assistance from Ziraldo.  The scoring rampage continued as Frizelle received assistance from Veale, and put the puck home.  The carnage didn't end there, however, and Homewood scored with assistance from Wild.  Kristopher Procter scored the second last goal receiving a pass from Ziraldo.  Finally, as the period began to wind down, Procter assisted Homewood who put the puck to bed behind the Leafs' goalie one last time.

The final score of this matchup brought Ingersoll Express's Thamesford Pizza home with a score of thirteen to three against the Langton Leafs.

Thamesford Pizza has a rest period now, as their next game will be played December 2nd, on home ice, against Simcoe.  A great time for Thamesford Pizza to prepare for the Simcoe challenge.

Come on out and support this great team!
