A Tale Of Three Cities
Thamesford Pizza has visited Port Dover and Langton recently, and they've welcomed Langton to their own ice as well.

February 9th, Port Dover welcomed Ingersoll's Thamesford Pizza to a game by the lake.

Port Dover took the lead early in the game, while Thamesford Pizza held off their scoring until the third period.  Goals by Jacob Branderhorst, assisted by Anthony Ziraldo and Keegan Purdy, as well as a goal by Marcus Frizelle with assistance from Braedan Mcneil.  A third goal – a solo effort – by Tyler DeBruyn put Thamesford Pizza to a score of three, where they finished the game.  Port Dover did not stand on three, however, and took the win with eight points.

Later in the month – on Valentine's Day - Thamesford Pizza welcomed Langton to the Express ice rink.  In a game that looked like a sure win for Thamesford Pizza, Langton suddenly poured on the steam in the third period.  Ingersoll's Thamesford Pizza had a healthy lead of six points to two, leaving Langton far behind.  Within only a few minutes, however, Langton quickly climbed back up to five points – only one behind Thamesford Pizza.  The clock showed some mercy and Thamesford Pizza did hold Langton to five, for the win as time ran out.

Scoring for Thamesford Pizza was Craig Wild with two goals, assisted by DeBruyn and Frizelle, as well as Austin George.  George would take two goals of his own, assisted by Wild, Michael Veale, Hayden Homewood, and Frizelle.  Homewood also put the puck behind the Langton goalie, with some help from Frizelle and George, while Branderhorst took the final goal, with a little help from Homewood.

The final match-up in this sweet little tale was a game in Langton, where the Langton Leafs welcomed Thamesford Pizza to another match-up.  This game could have gone to either team – as one scored, the other would answer back with a goal of their own.  DeBruyn opened the scoring for Thamesford Pizza with assistance from Frizelle.  A second goal was put away by George, who received assistance from Wild and Jacob Vanderheide.  A scramble in front of the Langton net resulted in the final Ingersoll goal by Ziraldo, with assistance from Homewood and Kristopher Procter.  Alas, the Leafs were able to capitalize on some situations in the third period to take a tie goal, followed by two others.  In the end, Thamesford Pizza fell to the Leafs with a final score of five points over Ingersoll's three.

The last few games of the regular season will be played this week.  Later, in March, Thamesford Pizza will attend a tournament in Paris.  Go Team!
