Thamesford Pizza Faces Many In Tournament
Thamesford Pizza were in the company of many other teams as the Ingersoll Express hosted a hockey tournament this past weekend.
Playing four games through the weekend, facing Hanover, Dorchester, New Tecumseth and Port Stanley, the Thamesford Pizza boys had their work cut out for them.
Throughout the tournament the boys played hard with especially strong playing presented by Connor young-Craig who stopped a dizzying array of shots and put himself into the middle of countless scrambles on his doorstep.
In the end, Thamesford Pizza came away without a win. The final game of the tournament had Thamesford Pizza on the board with a goal scored by Hayden Homewood with an assist by Craig Wild.
Thamesford Pizza will play their next game in Ingersoll on Thursday November 21, as they face their friendly rivals from Ingersoll.
