Delhi #2 Wins against Atom Team Tirecraft Thursday Night
Team Tirecraft was on the road to Delhi Thursday January 16th.
Big rivalry going on between Delhi and Ingersoll. Two minutes into the game, both teams sustained roughing penalties. Ingersoll was not letting Delhi push them around. With two minutes left in the period, #12 B. Martin passed to #18 E. Martire who slipped it over to #16 J. Dorsman to score. Team Tirecraft finished the first period leading 1-0.
The action continued during the second period. From the faceoff, Delhi carried the puck into the Ingersoll zone to score with only forty seconds into the period. Delhi obtained a checking penalty with four minutes left in the period. Team Tirecraft capitalized on the extra player advantage. #10 E. Robinson scored unassisted. Ingersoll now leading 2-1.
The third period started off with Ingersoll getting a tripping penalty thirty seconds in. Delhi quickly took advantage and scored. Less than one minute later, both teams received an interference penalty. One minute later, Delhi received another penalty. Ingersoll tried their hardest to make use of the advantage. Unfortunately, when the interference penalty ended, the Delhi player grabbed the puck coming out of the penalty box and scored. With two minutes left in the period, Delhi scored again. The game ended with Delhi winning 4-2.

J. Dorsman just started playing hockey this year. He plays left wing for Team Tirecraft. #16's favourite hockey team is the Calgary Flames.
