Shutout for Goalies D. Sharpe and L. Bromley of Atom L.L. Team Tirecraft
It was a tight game for Atom Local League Team Tirecraft when they faced Norwich on Monday February 17th in Ingersoll.
Team Tirecraft was fired up to secure their second win in a row during the semi finals showdown. Norwich was a tough adversary to face. Halfway into the first period, #8 E. Robinson scored assisted by #6 D. Kingsbury and #17 J. MacArthur. Team Tirecraft played well defensively, holding off Norwich from scoring. Both goalies, D. Sharpe and L. Bromley played great "protecting their home". Offensively, the front line carried the puck into the Norwich zone for many scoring chances. Final score 1-0 for Ingersoll.
Although there is not a lot to report, it was an exciting game. I guess you just had to be there.
BTW Team Tirecraft's defenseman #19 N. Emonts has been playing hockey for 5 years now. His nickname is "Nate". He admires Sid the Kid Crosby as his favourite hockey player.
