Close Encounters of the Hockey Kind
Atom local league Team Tirecraft faced Norwich #1 on our home ice Monday January 13th.
The teams were evenly matched both defensively and offensively. Team Tirecraft tried hard to get the upper hand and score. The first two periods remained scoreless, but it wasn't for a lack of trying. Norwich obtained a two minute hooking penalty in the second period. Unfortunately, Ingersoll could not take advantage of this opportunity.
Four minutes into the third period, Norwich found the chink in Ingersoll's armor and scored. Norwich did a great job of holding off Team Tirecraft from scoring. The final score was 1-0 for Norwich #1. Tough one Ingersoll.
