Worth the Drive to Norwich for 2-1 Win for Team Tirecraft
It was a busy weekend of hockey for the atom local league Tirecraft team. It was a beautiful drive to Norwich to face Norwich #2 in the qualifying round of playoff games.

Team Tirecraft had a winning mindset for this afternoon game. The team passed the puck smartly and skated hard. Goaltender #1 D. Sharpe made a ton of great saves and held Norwich off from scoring in the first period. It wasn't until the last fifty six seconds in the first period before Team Tirecraft took the lead. #3 C. White passed the puck to #17 J. MacArthur who fired it into the net past the Norwich goalie. Talk about leaving things for the last minute!

Team Tirecraft had several attempts to score. Halfway through the second period, Norwich took advantage and scored, tying the game 1-1.
Ingersoll wasn't deterred. Less than a minute later, newcomer, #6 D. Kingsbury passed to #15 B. Wright who passed to #10 E. Robinson to score.

Both teams battled for the remainder of the game. The final score was 2-1 for Team Tirecraft. Great teamwork Ingersoll!
