Express Continue With Busy Game Schedule
Ingersoll travelled up to Tavistock Sunday, Dec. 2nd for a mid-day match.  Early on, protecting our goalie seemed necessary and it drew offsetting penalties.

A point shot by Schneider danced on the their goal line but not meant to be. Back and forth action all period. Short shifts seem to be the norm for the Express. A scoreless quick first period with only 4 whistles blown. Tavi scored early in the 2nd. They appeared to be outmuscling our players off the puck this period. Backhanders were not producing the goals the fans had hoped to see. Pacheco had a point shot with some serious heat on it but it went a shy wide. The team regrouped midway thru the period and reverted back to their known positioning and passing in an effort to get on the board. Schneider pinched in and allowed the forwards a few good chances. Both Webber and Graham had several chances from the point. A scrum, again, in front of Wilson found the Express shorthanded. Tavi was up one nothing after 2 periods of play. Wilson was on his game, as the home team had several breakaway chances but weren't able to find the back of the net again til midway through the 3rd. Express got on the board late in third with a slapper by Dyzngel (Jeff Couse). End to end play continued and Tavi made it 3 1 with less than 2 min. to play. No luck by the Express on their powerplay, and the game went to Tavistock with a 3 1 final.
