From the opening faceoff to the final buzzer we controlled the play, the
puck and the scoreboard beating Burford in their building 6-1. It was a
game that saw several players trying out different positions, but that
didn’t affect our speed
and work ethic at all. For most of the game the puck was in their end
and the few times Burford got to our blue line , our defensemen or back
checking forwards quickly regained control.
Jeremy Hardeman seemed lonely at times, not seeing a lot of shots but he stayed focused on the game, touching the puck whenever he could. With the exception of one untimely line change Burford never had more than 2 players in our corners at one time. We scored a couple goals on shots that we don’t normally take, however after seeing we can score goals shooting the puck, opposing teams goalies I’m sure will be tested and peppered a lot more than usual. We win as a team, tie as a team and lose as a team, but when we dominate like we did in Burford as a team, we usually put one notch in the “W” column.
Great game guys!... Next up Fri Nov.23 at home VS Waterford.
Go Anderson’s!!!
