Tambourines chimed in the stands as the Dehi Novices took to the ice in Ingersoll to face Anderson’s our novice team. It was the loudest their fans would be. When the game started the loudest cheering would come from our Ingersoll supporters after we scored each of our 3 goals, a great save or even keeping the pressure on in Delhi’s end . We went on to beat Delhi 3-0.
It was a fast paced
game with action at both ends however, only the visitors felt what it was like to be stopped time and time again by Jeremy Hardeman who played his best game to date by far. Hardeman made save after save with any part of his body he could get on the puck, like his toe, pad, blocker even his mask.
It was a well deserved shut out for the young net minters but a great win for the whole team. We played a full 3 periods skated hard from starting buzzer to the final whistle. The goals might have only come from the first line with each forward getting one. Cohen Alexander, Evan Hopson and Rhylan Warford, but it was the work of every line that kept Delhi off the scoreboard.
Next up for Anderson’s is Friday night here in Ingersoll against Waterford.
