Home sweet home!
Who says you can't go home?, certainly none of our players as we again took it to Langton for another solid 6-1 win in Ingersoll on Sunday. The momentum followed the kids all the way down the highway. Skating, shooting and stick handling from once side of the ice to the other, seemingly scoring or near missing at will.
There looked to be some deep ruts behind the Langton net no matter what end they were defending. We cycled the puck and fore checked hard leaving the Langton D confused and not knowing if they were coming or going.
There were not questions left unanswered after this game as to who wanted it more. We expected a stronger effort and a different team after what happened on Saturday, but it was our kids who stepped up and raised their level and never looked back.
Just the lone late goal got passed Jeremy, however we got it right back for him, scoring our final goal about 2 mins later.
Next up.....Friday November 9 vs Burford.
