Express Extinguish Flames
This week the Novice Searles Motor Products Rep Express team played home and home OMHA games against the Aylmer Flames. Thursday night the Express handled the Flames with ease beating them 8-0. Friday nights contest was a much different affair as Aylmer played a much more sound defensive game thanks in part of their netminder. It was Gavin Bryant who opened the scoring, followed by Davin Gray giving the Express a 2-0 lead. Aylmer answered with a long blast from the point to cut the lead in half. Bryant once again answered followed by Gray, but Aylmer chipped into the lead with a goal of their own. A late rush by Aylmer was squashed by Ingersoll's defense who snuffed out any thought of a comeback.
Saturday at 8:00am the Express host the Dorchester Dragons in the Carmeuse Lime game, then set off to Tavistock to finish up their last OMHA round robin game at 3:00pm.
