Tirecraft's Final Weekend
Tirecraft hit the ice with official games on their minds - for the last time this season – in Tillsonburg over the weekend.
Playing three different games, they found themselves matched against players from the Northern town of Minto, and two closer towns of Dorchester and Langton.
In spite of the excitement around the tournament, and the efforts put forth by the Tirecraft team, they were unable to secure a win throughout the tournament.
Nevertheless, Bram O'Connor was named MVP of one game, while Derek Neeb was named MVP in the other two. Further, Connor Young-Craig, and Brodi Carbaugh stopped a barrage of shots. They were truly magnificent in net – last weekend and throughout the season.
Congratulations to all the Tirecraft players, parents, and coaches. It has been a wonderful season, and this writer has enjoyed the opportunity to allow my fingers to do the talking.
See you all next year for another excellent season in Ingersoll Express Minor Hockey!
