Tirecraft visited teams in Delhi on both November 18th and 21st. In both games they were outnumbered two to one. While Delhi had many soldiers to rest between battles, Tirecraft played the game with such incredible heart and devotion they might need to change their name to the Spartans.
Defense had only three players each game which meant long shifts for each defenceman with little rest between the shifts. Still, no matter what Delhi threw at them, no matter how many goals the scored, the Spartans of Tirecraft battled on as great examples of commitment to their team.
Meanwhile, offense worked double and triple shifts, keeping the puck in Delhi's zone as much as possible and taking shots on net. Yet their small number was no match for the fresh legs that Delhi teams continued to throw at them.
In spite of all the heart Tirecraft could muster, the game scores on the 18th and 20th were Delhi 6, Tirecraft 1, and Delhi 3, Tirecraft 0, respectively. The Tirecraft goal was scored on the 18th by #5, Camden McDougal.
This writer would like to say that the boys of Tirecraft are an inspiration to all their fans.
