Rough Weekend for Novice Express
The Ingersoll Express Searles Motor Products novice rep team faced off in 3 games over the Dec 17-20 weekend. Friday night the Express travelled to Aylmer to face the Flames. The kids put up a great effort, but were struck down 4-1 by Aylmer.
Saturday the kids attended practice and worked on some of the game plan from Friday night to see improvment. Sunday, they travelled to Tillsonburg to face the Tillsonburg Novice Rep. The kids played their best game of the winless stretch, but still fell to Tillsonburg 2-1. It seems they can't catch a break.
The bad luck continued on Monday, when the Express played host to Aylmer. The game play was much closer than the score indicates, but it seemed all of the luck and bounces were going Aylmer's way, and the Express couldn't catch a break.
The team plays next on Thursday, December 23 at 6:00 pm, when they host Port Dover before taking a break for Christmas.
