Express fall to Hagersville
The Searles Motor Products Ingersoll Express Novie Rep. team travelled to Hagersville Nov. 3 for a game against the hometown Hawks. The Ingersoll team well, and were backed up by an outstanding game by Gabe Robinson in net. Unfortunately, the team fell into a 4-0 hole by the end of the second, on a lot of shots by Hagersville.
The Ingersoll kids didn't give up though, and continued to put pressure on the Hagersville team. Down 5-0 nothing deep into the third, Paker Hodgson took the puck into the Hagersville zone and made a nice move, before netting the puck and finally getting Ingersoll on the board. Just a minute later, an excellent second effort by Aidan Berto put the puck into the front of the net, where Hodgson was able to bang the loose puck away for his second of the night. Hagersville added another goal late into the game, for a final of 6-2.
Searles Motor Products Novice Rep. play their next game Thursday, November 4 at 6:00 pm at home, against Cayuga.
