Anderson Appliance 5 Waterford 1
Saturday January 25, 2010

Ingersoll Anderson Appliance Novice LL took the long drive to Waterford on Saturday, looking to continue their win streak to three in a row. Anderson Appliance took to the ice looking confident with Leland Loranger as their goalie. The Anderson Appliance team seems determined to have a winning way to the second half to their season, and with forward Paul Shearer returned to the line up, Anderson Appliances took the control of the game immediately.  Sticking to what works and their solid defensive line up of Donovan Purcell, Camden McDougall and Brodi Carbaugh rotation of 3. These three had yet another impressive game on defence.

Starting strong on the first face off, the Anderson Appliance team held their own in the offensive end and Adam Csucs started the scoring off with an unassisted goal. Going into the second period up 1-0, forward Nolan Costa would not be held of the score sheet, earning his team a goal assisted by his sidekick Mark Tucker, who on a line together can really make some magic happen on the ice.  Waterford slipped a lucky goal into the Anderson Appliance net near the end of the second period, but Adam Csucs put the Anderson Appliance team ahead again, 30 seconds later. The goal was unassisted officialy, but regardless of a stingy score keeper, the whole Anderson Appliance deserved credit for the awesome plays happening on the ice.

Anderson Appliances still had lots of energy left for the third period, with Leland Loranger stopping shots left and right, protecting the Anderson Appliances lead of 3-1. Third period action had Adam Csucs scoring another unassisted goal earning him his third hat trick in as many games. Trying to help out his goalie and unable to stop one of Waterford's large forwards on a breakaway, Brodi Carbaugh took his first penalty of the year for tripping. The defensive pair of Camden McDougall and Donovan Purcell were solid and shut out the Waterford power play.
David Timleck sealed the deal with a breakaway goal, ending the scoring for Anderson Appliances with a helper from the assist leader Annilese Racicot. With the drive alive Anderson Appliances looks forward to meeting Delhi in Ingersoll on Monday night.
