Anderson Appliance 8 Tillsonburg 6
January 17th, the Adam Csucs show.

By far the most exciting and strongest effort of the year, happened in Tillsonburg on Sunday, as a rejuvenated Anderson Appliance exacted a much needed win, in their answer to a tough loss the day before in the same arena.

Ingersoll Anderson Appliance had a bench of thirteen players, that charged onto the ice fired up, banging their sticks and full of fire. Nathan Peacock teamed up with Adam Csucs, two minutes in, and Anderson Appliance took a lead that they would not give up. Anderson Appliance dominated in the first period, and Joseph Schonberger scored a beauty with the assist of Annilese Racicot, whose hard work rallied the Anderson Appliance lines. The power line of Adam Csucs, Mark Tucker, Justin Thorne, Brodi Carbaugh and Paul Shearer dominated their shift and earned Adam Csucs his second goal, assisted by Mark Tucker and Brodi Carbaugh. The Anderson Appliance onslaught continued for the period and Adam Csucs earned a hat-trick, in the first period. In the ending of the first period, Adam Csucs's  high energy game earned him three goals, the Anderson Appliance team had earned 8 points spread around 6 players. The first period closed out with Anderson Appliance leading 4 - 2, and the momentum swinging their way.

The second period proved a lot tougher, and Goalie Ben Fullerton just plain robbed Tillsonburg from starting any comebacks. Anderson Appliance rallied around their goalie and built a wall around their net. Tillsonburg tried everything they could to bring the game closer, but a pumped up Anderson Appliance squashed any Tillsonburg hopes. Adam Csucs continued to dazzle the arena, banging home his fourth goal of the night, unassisted, to bring the tally to 5 - 3. Camden McDougall's solid defensive performance was rewarded near the ending of the second period, as he caught an opportunity to break out of his own end and keep his team in control with an unassisted goal.

The puck dropped at the start of the third, with Anderson Appliance leading 6 - 4, and Mark Tucker used hard work and grit to put the on-fire team up by another goal. Tillsonburg pushed hard once again, and despite a lot of talking on the ice, they could do nothing to slow up a determined Anderson Appliance team. The game took a twist near the mid point of the third, and the home towners brought the score to within one goal, by scoring 2, and closing in the score to 7 - 6. The tired Anderson Appliance team showed a strong will to win, and led by their goalie, Ben "The Wall" Fullerton, stopped Tillsonburg from any further chances. The tension grew in the stands as the game ticked away with Ingersoll Anderson Appliance nursing a 1 goal lead. David Timleck with Nolan Costa took control and Anderson Appliance forward Annilese Racicot out worked everyone on the ice, and kept their team in control of the puck, and left the Tillsonburg team without any much needed scoring chances.

Adam "Coco-puff" Csucs guaranteed the Anderson Appliance win with his fifth of the night assisted by Nathan Peacock and blueliner Camden McDougall. Tillsonburg pulled their goalie in vain, in the last minute of the period and defenceman Leland Loranger's strong play at the blueline dashed any Tillsonburg's hopes for a comeback.
