Anderson Appliance traveled to Tillsonburg Saturday morning, trying to tie together 2 wins, and played a strong game. Tillsonburg got the early go ahead in the first period, but Anderson Appliance, led by goalie Ben "The Wall" Fullerton, kept up a solid defence and dazzled the crowd with some exciting saves and tough hockey in front of their own net.
In the second period Annilese Racicot fed Adam Csucs, who buried it in the back of the Tillsonburg net. Joey Schonberger and the rest of the Anderson Appliance forwards put in some great efforts, but ended the second period losing 4 to 1.
Anderson Appliance forward Mark Tucker netted an unassisted goal in the third, and Camden McDougall followed suit with another unassisted marker. Justin Thorne led a strong offensive push for Anderson Appliance, and goalie Ben Fullerton kept the score a lot closer than it might have been with a great show between the pipes. Anderson Appliance left Tillsonburg with a final score of 7 to 3. All of the Anderson Appliance players seemed to be playing a more solid game than in the past few, and prepared to return on Sunday to avenge the loss.
