Game#4 Ingersoll Express vs Pelham Panthers
With a record of 1-1-1 the hopes of advancing to Sundays Playoff round will be a stretch. With Teams in each bracket having undefeated records we need the win to give us a  chance at the wild card.
We seek shelter from the winters blast of snow for a little team bonding and lunch. It gives the team the reset they need for what will be an exciting finish to the round robin.

The Pelham Panthers come out of the room chanting and cheering. Their parents are hard on the cow bell.
Ingersoll strolls out poised and confident, ready to play we try to match the cheers of our opponents.
The Express are having themselves a great start to the game. All aspects of the game seem easier to our players.
Its evident the team is growing their skills. The puck moves from Chris Brekelmans over to Remy Lamers who feeds Rydan Bonifacio in stride. Effortlessly Rydan takes the pass with his skate up to his stick and doesn't lose a stride.
He's in all alone and snipes glove side on the right handed goalie. 1-0. The action is fast paced. The teams are exchanging chances. The ice is wide open and the Panthers are getting lots of their own attempts. Owen Pacheco is a wall back there! With just over 2 minutes left in the first Kaelan takes the face off and steps around the center and rips a shot short side. 2-0. The 2nd period starts and the teams are engaging once again. Kohen Cameron gets on the sheet with a body contact penalty. This doesn't slow us down. Our PK takes it to them and we have them back on their heels. At full strength Adriaan throws a shot on net that eludes the tender and we are taking full control at 3-0 going into the 3rd frame.
A couple minutes into the 3rd and Pelham shows some life with a goal of their own on a break away.
Ingersoll's attack keeps coming, Caleb Vanderwerf makes a fast break on the outside and slings a shot high over the net. Pelham gets called on a tripping penalty with 2:37 left.
Ingersoll's power play gets right to work. Kaelan serves up some sauce for Rydan out front for the one time finish.
Final score 4-1 Ingersoll Express.
Owen Pacheco is awarded player of the game.

We head home hoping for the perfect situation to develop that gets us in to Sundays Playoff.
Once the round robin completes we learn our fate, we miss out on the wild card by 1 point.
It was a great tournament of highs and lows and excellent teamwork. We have taken notes and are full ice veterans ready to take on the next challenge. Go Express Go!
