The team traveled to Burford on the weekend and got a bit more than anticipated

Burford may be behind in the standings but they came to play and were intent on defending home ice. #9 Brandt Klopher got the scoring started with an assist from #5 Lucus Folkema. Burford would add two goals in the second to go up 2-1. #5 Lucus Folkema scored to make it 3-2 but Burford countered and went up 4-2. Ingersoll would not quit and with 8 minutes to go mounted a comeback. # 16 Owen Nigh got things started with an unassisted goal then #18 Carter Skevington would find the back of the net twice in just over a minute with an assist to #7 Carson Ling to give Ingersoll their first lead of the game since the first period.

#33 Ben Baker made his first appearance in net in about 6 weeks with Marshall Kirmiris filling in for the second period. Ben and the defense were able to hold Burford off until they pulled their goalie and just slipped one in with 2 seconds remaining to end the game 5-5. It was a disappointing ending but the boys should hold their heads high as they were down 4-2 mid way through the third and rallied back to pick up a point.

Welcome back Ben you didn't miss a beat
