Semifinal Thriller
Both teams were geared up and what ensued was an action packed back and fourth game that would need double overtime to find a winner.
Ingersoll would get things started with #9 Brandt Klopher opening the scoring with the assist to #15 Owen Lively. Dover would even things up but Brandt would add another before the end of the 1st. The second period saw Ingersoll go up 3-1 with a goal from #18 Carter Skevington and assist from Brandt Klopher. Dover would make it 2-3 before the end of the second.
The third period was a battle. Ingersoll goalie #33 Ben Baker was outstanding and his defense #3 Owen Fedy, #14, Ryan Wilson, #10 Josh Bere and #12 Marshall Kirmiris were relentless. Dover would pull there goalie with about 45 seconds to go and it would pay off as they slipped one by with 11 sec left in the game.
Ingersoll did not give up and the 1st overtime was evenly matched with both teams not making any mistakes. 2nd overtime was just as closely contested as the first. Both teams were looking for the W. #5 Lucus Folkema would put the puck on target and #16 Owen Nigh charged the net scoring in sudden death double overtime to give Ingersoll the win.
