Tirecraft vs. Tillsonburg Rockets #Tornadoes
Saturday March 3rd Tillsonburg travelled to Ingersoll to face Tirecraft in what would end with the win for Tirecraft!
Tirecraft came to play and play they did as #3 Owen Vanderbaan opened the scoring at 8:52 in the first period assisted by #2 Nathan Kapitor. Just over a minute later, #2 Nathan Kapitor found the back of the net scoring at 7:47 assisted by #16 Kian Brown and #11 Trevor Hutchison. This line wasn't done yet! 39 seconds later #2 Nathan Kapitor scored again assisted by #16 Kian Brown and #17 JR Sholdice. Tirecraft wasn't done yet! With only 13 seconds remaining in the first period, #9 Kiefer Sim-Currah found the net assisted by #11 Trevor Hutchison.
The only goal scored in the second period was by Tirecraft's #2 Nathan Kapitor and assisted by #3 Owen Vanderbaan.
Tirecraft's only goal in the third period was scored by #6 Max Matheson and assisted by #2 Nathan Kapitor and #16 Kian Brown.
Tillsonburg managed to score two goals of their own in the third period but with the amazing net minding of Tirecraft's #1 Graeme Arthur, Tirecraft came away with the well deserved win ending the game with a final score of 6-2.
