Tirecraft vs. Delhi #2
Sunday December 10th Tirecraft travelled to Delhi to take on the Delhi Rockets #2.
Opening the scoring for Tirecraft came at 5:42 in the first period with a goal scored by #3 Owen Vanderbaan and assisted by #2 Nathan Kapitor and #10 Justin Clarke. Delhi came back to score and tie the game up but not for long as Tirecraft's #6 Max Matheson scored with 4.6 seconds left in the first period assisted by #3 Owen Vanderbaan.
Tirecraft dominated the second period while goalie #1 Graeme Arthur stood on his head blocking every shot that came his way eliminating every chance Delhi had to score. #2 Nathan Kapitor scored an unassisted goal at 4:04 in the second period and moments later passed a perfect pass to #7 Gunnar Doyon who slipped it right through the pads of Delhi's goalie. Only 8 seconds later, Tirecraft scored again!!
The awesome team work of #2 Nathan Kapitor and #3 Owen Vanderbaan resulted in two amazing goals scored by Kapitor from the perfect play by Vanderbaan!! Delhi managed to squeak one final goal in the net ending the game with a final score of 7-2 for Tirecraft!
