‘A’ Division Game 3 – Tillsonburg Tornadoes vs Ingersoll Express Novice LL1 Anderson Appliances
1 st Period
Ingersoll started strong with an attempt by #4 Owen on the Paris net less than a minute in. Great save
by Logan at 5:45 and a great attempt by Kyle on the Tillsonburg net. Another great save by Logan and
it’s a fast game. Ingersoll got the first goal at 3:11 with #4 Owen on a breakaway. This was followed by
our second goal at 1:28 by #19 Blake with a fantastic pass from #17 Kolton. We were on a roll and
finished the period with a third goal with 55.7 seconds left #5 Graeme assisted by #8 Teddy. A fantastic
first period and we were in the lead 3-0.
2 nd Period
Second period started off quickly with Tillsonburg looking to get on the board. Logan made two great
saves. Tillsonburg got their first goal at 6:51 and the score was 3-1 for Ingersoll. Quickly after that
Logan made two more great saves. It was a very active game. At 2:39 left in the period #12 Jackson
attempted a shot on Tillsonburg. At this point shots on net were 14 for Tillsonburg 15 Ingersoll. Both
teams and goalies were working hard on the big ice and you could see the legs getting tired With 8
seconds left in the period we got another goal with a beautiful pass by #9 Kyle from behind the net to
#17 Kolton to put us in the lead 4-1. Shots on Net 14 (Tillsonburg)-15(Ingersoll)
3 rd Period.
Tillsonburg wasn’t giving up and with home ice (big ice) advantage came out strong in the third. They
got their second goal at 9:33. Logan had another great save at 8:25 and the shots on net were an even
17-17. Tillsonburg scored at again at 5:00 and 2:38 to tie up the game and while we continued to make
great attempts on their net we just couldn’t get them in. A shout out to #9 Kyle for stopping an attempt
by Tillsonburg in the last minutes.

Total shots on net 26 (Tillsonburg) and 20 (Ingersoll)
