Let The Streak Continue!
On Monday January 30th the Novice LL#1 Anderson
Appliance team hosted the Norwich Nighthawks.
The Nighthawks would be looking for revenge from the last outing where
Anderson Appliance team shut them down 5-0.
The Anderson Appliance team was missing their goalie, Graeme A. who was
enjoying some NHL action of his own!
Jackson C. was ready to step in and what a night it would be! Jackson C.
would record his first shutout of the season!
The first period would see only one goal being scored by Mason D. assisted by Owen F. and Drew P. The Norwich goalie was proving to be a wall between the pipes and was stopping everything the Ingersoll team was throwing at him.
The Ingersoll team found their groove in the second period beating the Norwich goalie twice, one goal by Brandt. K assisted once again by Drew P. and the other goal scored by Drew. P assisted by Brandt. K.
Entering the third period the Ingersoll team was up 3-0 and the defensive duos Ryan W. and Kyle V., and Drew P and Owen F. seemed unstoppable, only allowing 6 shots on net the entire game! Ingersoll would see goals in the third period by Brandt K. and Mason D. recording a hat-trick. Drew P. recorded a personal best of 4 pts this game while both Brandt K. and Mason D. recorded 3 pts each.
