On Saturday November 21 the Canadian Tire
Novice were looking to get back on track, after suffering two losses, as they
played the Six Nation Blackhawks.
In the 1st both teams came out strong but it was #8 Cole McNeil who scored first to take the early lead but the Blackhawks stopped Ingersoll’s momentum by scoring three goals in a row. Not to go down without a fight #18 Carter Skevington scored on an assist from #5 Lucas Folkema to end the first 3-2 to for the Blackhawkes.
In the 2nd the Blackhawks would score again to widen their lead but Carter kicked into overdrive and scored two back to back goals with assists from #17 Alexander Stevens and
#4 Warren Perry. Then #8 Cole McNeil scored on an assist from #7 Brandt Kloepfer to give Ingersoll back its lead to end the 2nd.
In the 3rd #30 Spencer Krajewski shutdown any goal attempts of the Blackhawks to regain its lead. That combined with 2 more goals from Cole and Carter each, and a goal by Lucas cemented the win for Ingersoll 10-4.
