The game began with a first period, full of fast-paced action, with nary a goal to be found.
The second period saw Ingersoll with a two-man advantage, but the team was unable to put a puck into the Tillsonburg net. Tillsonburg likewise finished the period with zero on the scoreboard.
The third period seemed like it was to be a duplicate of the first two. However, with five minutes left in the game Tillsonburg would score the first goal of this match-up.
Then, with only two minutes left in the game, Ingersoll pulled their goalie to put a sixth attacker on the ice, but to no avail. Tillsonburg would take home the win, with a final score one to nothing.
