A Great Six Nations Matchup
Featuring end to end action from the initial face off, Shooters Sports Photography played hard against Six Nations Midgets.
During a rush behind Ingersoll's net a Six Nations player managed to steal the puck from Ingersoll's defense, and poked home a wraparound goal to open scoring. That would be the only goal of the period.
Action continued through the second period – featuring a power-play for Six Nations with 7:30 on the clock. Then, with a penalty for Six Nations, there came nineteen seconds of four on four action, followed by a power-play for Ingersoll. All the penalties would eventually be killed off, however.
With the score holding at one for Six Nations, nothing for Shooters Sports Photography, period three commenced. Through a power-play for Ingersoll, as well as through regular play, the Six Nations goalie was hammered by pucks launched from Ingersoll sticks. Still nothing was getting through this solid goalie. As the clock wound down, Ingersoll pulled their goalie. Then, with a Six Nations penalty, the last seconds of the game featured a six on four scrimmage, with Six Nations fighting to stay ahead, while Ingersoll did everything they could to score a goal and tie this great match-up. The game would end, with a final score of 1 for Six Nations while Ingersoll remained off the board. This truly was an excellent hockey game!
