Anderson Appliance vs. Canadian Tire
It was the 4th game for the Anderson Appliance team of the Delhi Hockey Moms' tournament and they met a familiar foe, the Ingersoll Canadian Tire team.  Both teams came into the game needing a win to move on and the Anderson crew came away with the win!

Anderson's started the game showing good puck control and players staying in position.  This really helped clearing the zone having the wingers up on the boards ready for the pass.  Anderson's did a great job on offence as well, keeping the puck inside the blue line while getting some good chances in front of the net.  All this team work lead to the first goal of the game when #9 Noah Muller intercepted a pass from a rushed defence man and after kicking the puck up to his stick found the back of the net with some smooth stick handling to fool the goalie.  Great goal Noah!  Ingersoll took the lead at 5:53 of the first period and score remained 1-0 for the rest of the period.
The second periond was a lot more even and both goalies had to sharp to stop all the shots being put on the net.  With 6:56 on the clock #15 Logan Pare stole the puck at the blue line and walked in on the goalie all alone, blasting the puck into the left hand side of the net.  Great goal Logan!  This goal really fired up the Canadian Tire team and they made some good plays to get the puck in the Anderson zone and put some quality shots on #5 Riley Vyse.  The hard work paid off for Canadian Tire at 5:16 when the puck was intercepted at the blue line and the Canadian Tire player was all alone in front of the net.  That goal cut Anderson's lead in half to make the score 2-1.  Anderson fought back and with 1:34 remaining #9 Noah Muller went down the ice all alone and flew the puck high in the net for his second of the game!  The period end with a score of 3-1
The third period was dominated by the Anderson crew and #9 Noah Muller wasted little time getting his Hat Trick by jamming in the loose puck at 8:36.  Congratulations Noah!  Anderson's didn't give up an easy inch all period and the Canadian Tire team struggled to gain any traction.  Anderson's ended up on the power play half way through the period and the Canadian Tire goalie was sharp and made some really good saves.  That effort was not enough to stop the Anderson's scoring machine #9 Noah Muller who danced in from the red line and made a great back hand move to get his 4th goal of the game!  The crowd was loud and Noah really deserved the applause for that goal!  The minutes ran down and horn sounded to end the game with a score of 5-1.  Great effort from all players on both teams and congrats to Anderson Appliance for moving on to the tournament final!
