Welcome to the New Year
2015 Started out with our Express running down the wrong track, but with game one of the Delhi Hockey Moms tournament we have switched tracks and are truly on the Express train to the finals!

"T.E.A.M. = Together Everyone Achieves More!"
When the game started we looked like six engines running on their own but as the game played on our Express linked together those cars and formed a unstoppable locomotive.
Opening the tournament against Tillsonburg which we have tied twice and have had back and fourth struggles.
The game opened the first two periods with a defensive stand off. Back and fourth end to end. Battles in the corners and down the boards neither team could get a shot on net.
Then the third period started and Tiilsonburg hit the ice with a fire under them and scored at 9:31 breaking the scoreless tie. This time our Express did not let it get the best of them and they stoked the coals and put their heads down and drove that engine right down the other end, keeping the pressure in the Tillsonburg end and at 6:02 #11 Westin Matsumoto broke the shut out and tied the game at one's. Not letting off the gas we battled back and forth then #14 Dylan Lale put Butterworth's in the lead.
Just over a minute later #14 Dylan Lale got his second of the game assisted by #2 Will Johnson and #3 Brody Wright who has made a excellent addition to our blue line. Then Tillsonburg put on the pressure pulling their goalie for the extra attacker. They managed to get the puck into our end but our stellar defence and our outstanding goal tender Chris "The Eagle" Hardeman we held them off. With the clock ticking down #6 Wyatt Thompson banked the puck off the boards and with only 0.1 seconds left it crossed the goal line to add a little icing to the cake.
Well done Express and let's keep this train on the same track!
