Using the strengths of those team mates in front of him Christopher "The Wall" Hardeman is building his Great Wall of Ingersoll one shutout at a time and tonight he adds another brick to his master piece. Rome wasn't built in a day but the The Wall will be built in a season!
The first period started off with a bang 8:35 of the first period had #10 Jonah Martire score the first goal of the game assisted by #6 Wyatt Thompson and #4 Urijah Jewkes. Then 5 minutes later finding our Express on a power play #10 Jonah Martire potted his second of the game assisted by #7 Charlie "Chuck" Ashman.
The second started off much the same as the first just this time at 6:51 #10 Jonah Martire scores his third of the game to complete his hat trick, assisted by #2 Will Johnson and #7 Charlie Ashman. Now this time instead of being on the power play our Express were short handed but that did not stop #10 Jonah Martire from scoring yet another goal, this time assisted by #14 Dylan Lale.
Scoring in the third opened shortly after the puck was dropped. Changing it up for the third #14 Dylan Lale picked up his scoring touch assisted by #16 Sam House. Just over a minute later at 8:11 of the third #6 Wyatt Thompson scores assisted by #19 Brandon Plaquet. At 6:53 of the third #14 Dylan Lale scored assisted by #9 Ryan Wolfe and #7 Charlie Ashman. Two minutes later Express #6 Wyatt Thompson got his second goal of the match assisted by #12 Jorja Kloepfer.
This game also saw a few changes to the line up seeing team Captain Jorja Kloepfer patrolling the blue line with our "Towers of Power" #15 Logan Pare, #19 Brandon Plaquet and #7 Charlie "Chuck" Ashman. This has become quite the grand first line of defence for our net minder Christopher "The Wall" Hardeman.
Also tonight saw the debut of what I will call the "The Mighty Mites" line Sam House, Will Johnson and Urijah Jewkes what they lack in size they make up in penalty minut.....HEART!
