Coyotes howl after losing 4-2 Against Novice Team Anderson Appliances Local League
Anderson Appliances faced the Burford Coyotes at home on Tuesday November 18th.
The two novice teams played neck to neck for the first period. Ingersoll's scoring streak started in the last three minutes with #19 T. Belore passing to #14 E. Schram who made a beautiful pass to #10 C. Skevington to score. It was two minutes later that the Coyotes tied the game up up 1-1.
Team Anderson Appliances took the lead in the second period. #16 B. Huitema assisted on #17 C. McNeil's goal. Ingersoll made valiant efforts to stretch the lead out during the rest of the period. Ingersoll leading 2-1.
The excitement continued into the third period. Team Anderson Appliances thrives on leaving things for the last minute. The Coyotes fought hard to make a comeback. With three minutes left in the period, the Coyotes tied the game up. With parents and fans sitting on the edge of the cold benches, #10 C. Skevington scored unassisted with less than two minutes left in the game. As if that wasn't exciting enough, #10 C. Skevington scored assisted by #3 A. Patterson in the last thirty seconds of play!
