Team Anderson Appliances Novice Local League went on the road to Tillsonburg Wednesday February 18th to continue their playoff series.
The Tillsonburg Tornadoes took the first period with a 1-0 lead in the game. The Tornadoes furthered their lead with an additional 5 goals in the second period giving them a 6-0 advantage. Despite Team Anderson's efforts, Tillsonburg continued their scoring streak with 3 more goals. The Tornadoes won the game 9-0.
On Thursday, February 19th, Team Anderson Appliances headed to Simcoe to face the Warriors. The Warriors took the lead in the game with a 2-0 lead by the end of the first period.
The Warriors scored within the first two minutes of the second period. Ingersoll's #10 C. Skevington scored assisted by #18 R. Bryce four minutes later. The Warriors took the lead further with two more goals towards the end of the second period, leading the game 5-1.
Despite all their hardwork, the Warriors took the lead with two more goals. Final score 7-1 for Simcoe.
