The music was pumping up the players as Team Anderson Appliances faced Simcoe Warriors #1 team Tuesday February 3rd at the Ingersoll Memorial Centre.
Ingersoll played hard during the first period holding off the Warriors from scoring. Team Anderson Appliances carried the puck into the Simcoe zone and successfully cleared the puck out of their end. The first period ended scoreless.
The excitement picked up during the second period. Simcoe was the first team to crack a number onto the scoreboard within the first two minutes. One minute later, #10 C. Skevington passed the puck to #12 O. Lively to tie the game up. Both teams battled hard to get the upperhand. Simcoe scored another goal on a breakaway. The Warriors lead the game 2-1 at the end of the second period.
The Warriors widened the gap with two more goals within the first half of the final period. Team Anderson fought hard to even the score up.
